Who loves Christmas? THIS GIRL. Always have, always will. And since this year will be a little different than usual, I decided to go all out with the Christmas vibes. First up: making our very own family advent calendar filled with all sorts of fun Christmas activities we can do in these next few weeks.
I wanted to make a fabric advent calendar that we can use for years to come, and I hope it will pass my Christmas loving spirit onto the boys :). I added felt numbers, some bows, made tiny tassels, and I hand stitched our initials on it. It’s not perfect, but that’s just how I like it.

If you want to do an advent activities calendar yourself, be sure to check out my printable at the end of this post (in English & Dutch). I added a blank page at the end so you can write your own ideas on them if you’d like.
I know I’m a tad late with uploading this so if you don’t have an advent calendar ready to go, you can easily print these cards, put them in paper bags or envelopes, write or stamp your numbers on them, and hang them somewhere in your house. I like the idea of hanging them in the staircase, or maybe you have an old piece of driftwood that you can use. Pinterest is your friend here. Let me know if you decide to give it a go!
